The Rotary Club of Madison is a small club with a big heart. In the course of the year we sponsor several activities aimed at improving the health, career development and community spirit in Madison and the town of Triana. In the true spirit of Rotary, our club touches an ever-increasing number of families in the Madison area by providing Thanksgiving donation baskets, Christmas presents to needy children, donations to the Helen Lee Foundation at the Madison Library, support of the Triana Boys and Girls Club, and ACS Relay for Life. In an effort to support the new Madison YMCA, Madison Rotary has proudly committed $50,000 to sponsor the Community Room. The Madison Rotary Club also co-hosts the annual North Alabama High School Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Conference with up to 100 scholars attending the 2010 RYLA. Our international efforts include the Madison Rotary Eco-Stove project in Honduras, Paramedics for Children, and through the Rotary International Foundation, world-wide eradication of polio.
